Middling clear white and modest foam, vague sugar notes on the nose. Flavour is chewy unsweetened corn flower. Semi-dry finish. A pretty poor showing, really.

Clear copper body and no head, soft brown sugar on the nose. Flavour is more sugar water. Blah finish, cloying sugar on the mouth. Just a total miss.

Chewy orangey hops on the nose, clearish orangey body with a bit of foam. Flavour is hints of sharp malt and chewy hops. Somewhat crisp on the mouth. An okay combination.

On tap at Callister, pours an opaque bright yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out tons of stone fruit pith, tropical fruit juice, citrus hops, and chalky yeast. Flavour is like drinking a pulpy, yeasty stone fruit juice, with citrus hops, pulpy orange juice, pith, and chalky yeast. Juicy and pulpy — too muffled. Needs work, but has potential.

On cask at Callister, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out stale bready malt, an unpleasant herbal character, ugh... Flavour is unpleasant, with a nasty herbal bitterness and stale bready malt. Again, reminds me of the nasty Real Cask days. Bad.

On cask at Callister, pours a clear pale yellow blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out stale bready malt and some straw. Flavour is flat and lifeless, with stale English bready malt and unpleasant astringent. Marginally better than the Real Cask crap that this replaced, but that's not saying much, is it?

On tap at Callister, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma is pretty mineraly, smelling nothing like a farmhouse beer. Flavour is a bit estery, with sweet cereal malts, estery notes, and candied sugar. Not even close to on-target. Poor.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5

On tap at Callister, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle herbal, earthy hops, and a clean bready malt base. Flavour follows accordingly, with a dry, herbal hop character, soft doughy bready and a little pine. Clean and crisp. Pleasant but uninteresting pale.

On tap at Callister, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out straw, light grass, and cereal grainy notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with a clean straw character upfront, cereal grains, and biscuity malt. Crisp and clean. Meh.

Light fruity esters and Belgian yeast. Clear gold with a small white head. Light fruity esters and a light finish.
