On cask at Callister, pours a clear reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma and flavour of artificial sweetness, low quality rum and some perfumey notes. Really, this is so bad it's amazing anyone orders this and claims to enjoy it. Terrible.

On cask at Callister, pours a cloudy dark orange with a small white head. Aroma smells like paint thinner and perfume. Flavour brings out nasty marzipan, paint thinner and perfume. What an absolute joke. Shit.

Draft - Lots of nice toast and nutty notes. Cloudy brown with a decent beige head. Nice sweet dark nutty notes and gingerbread. Very nice, but pretty sweet.

Draught at Callister, Vancouver
Brown color with thin head. Dirty water with a spoonful of coffee grounds. Touch of roast, touch of cheap chocolate shavings, no bitterness.
Customer to the barman: "can I swap this beer? Tastes like a beer in which somebody poured water".
And just in case, I had many Milds in England, I can appreciate a properly made low alcohol beer when I drink one; not happening today.

Draft -! Nice dried cocoa notes with some syrup. Dark brown with a small white head. Deep brown with a beige head. Light chocolate and mellow cocoa. Very light and easy drinking, my kind of mild.

On tap at Callister, pours a cloudy full bronze with a small white head. Aroma brings out biscuity malt and dry English hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with biscuity malt and English dry hopping. Quite stale tasting, astringent and just unpleasant. Very bad.

Amber color, hazy, with generous and compact head (from sprinkler). Very mild aroma of yeast, and apples (5.5). Good body structure, moderately sweet, but also boozy, and with the feeling of something that could be gin, it doesn’t have many beer qualities, and it has some vegetable bitterness in the final.
Not very pleasant overall, although not completely bad like the recent ones.

On cask at Callister, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma is prominent on the grains and British (Goldings) hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of toasted grains and abrasive English hops. Unusual but decently done. Nice attempt.
