Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear dark amber with an off-white head. Roasty, nutty nose. Medium body, heavy roast, somewhat ashy, a licorice touch and a solid hoppiness, smooth on the palate. A serious Brown Ale. 130711

Bottle, from trade with Dedollewaitor. A slow gusher that won’t stop foaming out of the bottle. It pours a foamy, white head over a semi-clear, golden body. Slightly milkysour and chalky on the nose, else it’s mostly fruity. The flavor is sour and bitter like the white peel on an orange, with some generic fruityness and some malty notes. Medium body, a bit dead. Not my choice of beer in any way. Drinkable though. 110624

Bottle, courtesy of Dedollewaitor. Looking beautiful in the glass, with its two-finger, creamy, off-white head and its clear, dark amber to brown body. Nice lacings too. Pity the aroma and flavor isn’t in the same league. It’s slighty sourish on the nose, with roasted malts, fruity hops and a bready touch. There’s some sourness in the flavor too, and the same roasted, bready elements found in the aroma. Roasted and bready finish with some milky sourness. Medium body, pleasant carbonation. Overall, a quite decent one although a bit unclean. 110614
