12/11/2024. Can shared by SHIG, cheers! Pours thick black with a small beige head. Aroma is woody, whiskey, vanilla, chocolate, cocoa, maple syrup, slight musty edge. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Quite full bodied, very smooth, soft carbonation. Enjoyed this.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 18/10/24. Black with a khaki cap that thins to the edge. Nose is big on bourbon, stewed fruits, dark chocolate shavings, spice, herb, dark malts. Taste comprises fruit cake mix, big whiskey blast, molasses, chocolate, spice, vanilla. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with a balanced boost. Okay BA impy if a little rough and ready and lacking finesse.

Can: Poured a deep brown to black with a thick finger brown head. Aroma is super boozy, whiskey, light vanilla, doughy. Taste is sharp whiskey, boozy forward, then vanilla, molasses, doughie, malty, dark chocolate.

Draft: Poured an unclear golden with a white whispery head. Aroma is nice grain and lime. Taste is light citrus, little sweet and grain.

Draft: Poured a hazy white yellow with a white head. Aroma is heavy wheat, light coriander. Taste is more of that wheat just a slight hint of coriander.

Draft: Poured a hazy yellow with a white jello head. Aroma is fruity, danky, citrus, resinous. Taste is juicy, light bitter, fruity, citrus, mango, mellow finish.

Draft: Poured a dark brown with a creamy khaki head. Aroma is rich roasted malts, caramel, chocolate. Taste is rich roasted malts, hint of coffee, not much veggie, chocolate. Good stout tho.

On tap at the source. Deep amber bordering on brown with a bubbly off white head that dissipates quickly. Rich caramel and toffee notes with bits of dark dried fruits and light earthy hops to counter. Really tasty English style ale.

On tap at the source. Deep yellow almost golden in color without much of a head. Buttery nose and flavor hides most of the good stuff for me. Light grainy malt and hint of earth round this out. Swing and a miss for me.
