12 oz bottle from the $50,000 Bar in Montana. I guess this brewery never got the memo that artificial flavors and Red #40 are no longer desirable in "Hand Crafted Ales" in the year 2015. Aroma is total maraschino cherries, nothing else. Pours filtered golden with a small white-pink head. Taste is maraschino cherries with a light golden ale base. Tastes pretty good in a fake soda pop way. If they would’ve used real fruit, it probably wouldn’t have turned out as good.

Bottle from Beer Revolution. Pours clear dark amber/brown with a three finger creamy beige head. Aroma is roast malt with a little fruit. Med body. Flavor seems to be just a little sour, then roast malt, and some fruit. If it’s infected, it’s mildly so, but it seems a bit sour for just citrus. However, the stuff drinks just fine. I’m voting for a slight infection, since I think this is too sturdy and tasty for the "neophyte".

Bottle: Pours brown with a thin beige head. Mild aroma of roast and cocoa. A pretty lightweight stout with malt, light roast, and dry cocoa in the flavor. Pretty tame.

Bottle from Brewforia. Pours really balck with a 3 finger tan head. Mild aromas of dark malt and a little chocolate. Flavor is mild burnt malt, smooth, with some semi-dark milk chocolated. Finishes mild, a bit chalky and moderately chocolate. Pretty tasty.

Draught at the brewery. Hazy mahogany colour, no head. Vinous caramelly nose. Sweet and near full bodied. Salty and peppery with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Vinous cara,el and red berries. Growing salty bitterness. An intense beer, well made barleywine. Kind of suprisingly good, after havning not liked much of the other beers at this pleasant little brewery tap.

Draught at the brewery. Black, small beige head. Cocoa butter aroma. Sweet wih clean mouthfeel. Harsh and edgy with plenty of tinny metal. The chocolate in the finish is akin to that in Floris Chocolat, digging up some very unpleasant memories...

Draught at the brewery. Clear nut brown, small head. Mildly roasty up front. Light-medium bodied with nuts and slight coffee coming from the roasty malt. Clean and crisp with fairly low bitterness.
