Bottled. A golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of straw, fruit, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and a bit of fruit, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy, reddish brown with a neat and lacing, beige head. Roast and nuts in the nose. Light-bodied - almost watery - very smooth and soft on the palate, roast and chocolate with next to no bitterness. Nice enough but a bit too thin and watery for a solid German Dunkel.. 030422

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a pale yellow with a slight haze and a dissipating, white head. Clean, sweet malt aroma. Medium body, sweet maltiness with a hint of floral hops and a subdued bitterness. Straight, clean and quoffable. 030422

Flaska från Wika Meny Köga. Vintage 2009, fatlagrad och med brett. Troligtvis inte haft de bästa lagringsförutsättningarna. Inte så förvånande så skummar den något vid öppning, men inte farligt. Får dock den stora bottensatsen att röras upp. Trots detta en ganska klar upphällning och ser bättre ut i glaset än väntat. Något mörkare bärnstensfärgad med en smutsvit krona. Rejält med brett i doften med tydligt funkiga toner, viss syra, ligger ovanpå sötma från honung och torkad aprikos. Litet inslag av gröna druvor. Lagom stor kropp, fatkaraktär. Klarat sig förvånansvärt bra, och är intressant och god rakt igenom. Visserligen smal stil med brettad BW, men här var det över all förväntan. Moget, nyanserat, komplex. Verkligen imponerad. Skulle dock gissa att bretten inte var efter intention. Men gott oavsett.
