Bottle 33 cl. Pours a thick, opaque black with a small, rough brownish head. Leaves curtains in the glass. Mushy, oxidized aroma of raisins and molasses - kinda port wine like. Body doesn't live up to the thick pour, it's surprisingly thinnish for the style - and almost flat. Flavor doesnøt live up to the nice aroma either, it's dusty and moldy - obviously not a clean barrel. ends dry with some faint licorice accents. The cocoa isn't detectable. 190825

Can 44 cl. Pours golden with a slight haze and a small, off-white head. Odd tart and herbal aroma. Light body, cloyingly sweet and honeyish with a slight, lemony tartness - but nowhere near being balanced. Some baking yeast and absolutely no bitterness. No thanks! 190825

440ml can bought at the tax-free store, Kastrup. Shared with Finn. Remaining white head that laced quite well, hazy golden body. Citrus on the nose with orange fruits to the fore, promising. Soft fruity flavours, including apricot and orange. Mid-dry close, ripe fruity,, long lived. Well bodied. Pleasing. (Summer session at Vervet, Tromsø 06.07.2025).

440ml can bought at the tax-free store, Kastrup. Shared with Finn. Steady off-white head, close-to-clear dark reddish-brown body, spotty lacing. Prominent smell of caramel and nuts. A nice brown malty taste, hints of biscuits and nuts. Slightly roasted malty ending, not too sweet. Like it. (Summer session at Vervet, Tromsø 06.07.2025).
