aroma is lots of bitter nutty maltiness, but not really kastanje aroma. maybe faint kastanje aroma. there is a very decent dry brown ale aroma, a bit funky stuff going on, like in a belgian quad, and it's pretty impressive this one is at only 5.6%. complex. Flavor is malty, syrupy, sweet malty, bitter nutty, still not really much clear kastanje, only some nuances, or , perhaps they dosed it correctly to add to flavor without dominating it. decent flavor, quite nutty bitter, and bitter for a brown ale, but enjoyable on its own terms.

Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Light sweet and bitter flavor. Some molasse. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate.

Violently carbonated gusher. Copper with a big off-white head. Aroma of toffee and raw wort. Sweetish malty flavour with toffee and chocolate, and only a touch of cardboard. Very good for an alcohol free
