Brighton draught, 4/2/25.
Rich caramel and light chocolate with gentle acidity. Clean, not sweet, no booze. Yet it still smells very malty and rich.
Soft, creamy, malty, deep and rich. Maybe not Uber complex but the caramel, raisin, pepper, toast and light milk chocolate are balanced perfectly. Clean, chewy but not sugary. No booze.

Brighton draught, 4/2/25.
As pictured.
Toast and fig with chewy raisin and a touch of smoke. Clean and fairly rich as it warms up.
Very flavorful, unless you have a weak palate. Rich and chewy with deep malt but light very balancing acidity showing prune, caramel, black pepper and toast. Hint of smoke with long fig and vanilla. Not a beer for your average ticker who can't identify great beers unless they beat you over the head with huge flavors (solidfunk). But for others, this is clean, balanced, rich and sublime.

Side pour, Brighton, 4/2/25.
As pictured.
Clean, fairly floral, excellent mineral and delicate honey. Hops, malt, yeast all lovely and sharing space.
Rich and malty with plenty of honey and biscuit. Dried herbs, flowers, soft malts and a dry finish with ample but not-overdone bitterness. Per usual, an incredible amount of flavor for its size.

Brighton draught, 4/5/23. Garnet. Clear. Beige head is small, well-retained. Heavily fruity melanoidins with licorice-tinged cola and a solid layer of succulent caramel. Clean, seemingly crisp on the finish. No booze. Soft, very malty, with quick bitterness inserting itself amongst bready, peppery notes and light chocolate and caramel. Clean, malty, good attenuation. A bit bready, maybe a touch more specialty malt than needed. Raisins, oranges, caramel, vanilla lingering. Still achieves a pretty good balance while remaining quite malty.

Pours dark mahogany into a willi. Tan head with excellent retention recedes leaving trailing spots. Raisin, date and brown bread aromas. Crisp with dark caramel, earthy clove and dark chocolate front to back. Lasting bitter cocoa finish.

Can at home, unfortunately more than a year old. Aroma is fruity hops, tropical fruits, citrus, grapefruit, some piney notes and a soft touch of pale malt. Flavour is light sweet and medium bitter. Body is light to medium. Despite the oldness the hoppiness has been surprisingly conserved. Note: Must try a fresher sample some day.
