18th Street Brewery was founded as a home brewery by Drew Fox in 2010. After years of hands-on learning and exploration, 18th Street Brewery became official with the release of Sinister DIPA in 2013. Shortly after the Sinister release, we opened a 3,200 square foot brewpub in Gary, IN. Quickly outgrowing that space, we purchased a 32,000 square foot warehouse in Hammond, IN. Our Hammond location now houses our production, packaging, barrel program, a taproom and a full service kitchen. Our original Gary, IN now houses a small 10-barrel open fermentation system, as well as a taproom, craft cocktail bar and kitchen.
We are currently the second largest brewery in Northwest Indiana. Our beers range from saisons to double India Pale Ales to double milk stouts to pilsners and lagers. 18th Street is comprised of hard working, motivated individuals who strive to be the best. We love our jobs. We love our beer. We live and love what we do.

Pours slightly hazy copper with a very small white head. It has a hoppy, citrusy aroma. The moderately bitter flavor is of citrus and mangos with bready, caramelly malt.

Pours orange with a one finger white head. It has a tropical fruit, hop led aroma. The flavor is moderately bitter with hops, tropical fruit, and caramel malt. Medium bodied. To me it's not bitter enough for the West Coast IPA description, but it's pretty good.

Can. Slightly hazy in the glass, golden in color, with a nice white head. The aroma has some malty sweetness in the back, with perfumed, flowery and mostly piney and citrusy hops up front. It's full-bodied and feels quite dry on the palate, even though there's a good residual sweetness. Smooth, pleasant carbonation and a good bitterness. Citrus zest, grapefruit mostly, grapefruit juice, pine cones and a perfumed, flowery touch in the flavor, along with the already mentioned malty sweetness. Long fruity, bitter finish. An easy drinkable, tasteful beer I bet would be dangerous in a session at the brewpub. 210220

Wel lekker. Hoppig, beetje zoet, fruitig. Niet zoveel schilletjes in de smaak.
