Description
The ILLEGAAL brewery brings together artists and brewers around a common project: creating the best beers possible in order to produce, support and share artistic projects.
The idea is not revolutionary but common sense: in Belgium, beer accompanies cultural events, vernissages, concerts, shows and various gatherings. Through beer, we want to share our Art and defend the social, political and philosophical values that unite our collective.

Bottle from Geers. Hazy orange colour, beige foam. Sweet tropical fruit in the nose. Bitter and hoppy finish. Very well balanced. Nice surprise!

330 ml. bottle sampled @ “Mathieu’s house cooling party”. This appears to be the first beer from Brasserie Illegaal but I am finding any news to confirm that. Either way it was brewed by Belgo Sapiens as stated clearly on the label. Faint hazy close to clear amber beer with little bubbles. Nose is weirdly oily plastic tea with heavy sugar & herbs. Taste is dull overly sweet & boozy herbs, sugar, odd dull strong plastic. Low carbonation, oily & plastic body. Nothing to get excited over.
