Description
Allagash was founded Rob Tod in 1995. As a brewery, we strive to create some of the best Belgian-style beers in the world. As people, we make sure to enjoy ourselves along the way. Part of that joy comes from constantly pushing the sustainability of our brewing operation and making a positive impact in our community. We buy local ingredients, support local organizations, and volunteer our time and expertise to help our community flourish. Stop by some time, we’d love to show you around.

Bottle, sleeper tick. It pours jet black with a sturdy tan head. The aroma is heady and rich, dark roasted malt, vanilla, oak, big espresso coffee character, bourbon soaked oak, chocolate brownie, touch of coconut and dark chocolate bounty. The taste is smooth, bitter - sweet, dark roasted malt, umami, charred, dark chocolate, plenty of coffee, burnt toasty vibes, mocha, toothy malt, warming booze, dark chocolate bounty bar and some nuttiness with a charred walnut finish. Fulsome body and moderate fluffy carbonation. Flavourful, rounded and moreish.

Eight ounce pour at Good Karma while in town for work. Nothing's changed except some new artwork, but the neighborhood continues to deteriorate.
Cold coffee pour, barely breathing.
Apple butter, soy, plum nose.
Mellow but complex bruin type. Soft & drying brett, medium-low acid, positive oxidation, cola & complex sherry flavors with a little extra plum on the tail.
Subtle but great.

Lighter body. Lots of tobacco, dark chocolate oak and bourbon. Not that well balanced. It’s ok but honestly needs more body.surprisingly even for 11% it’s light but not boozy

Hazy yellow colour, small white head and some lace. Citrus fruity aroma, also somewhat bready (not SO old, packed 02/2025). Light to medium-bodied. Lime, citrus, pale malts in the flavour, which is also somewhat bready. Tolerable.

A light yellow and slightly hazy beer, a head is medium and white. Aroma has lemon and coriander, also other spicyness and wheat. Taste has strong lemon and coriander, freshness of wheat in the back. Medium bodied. Nicely spicy and strong, but refreshning. Great wit.
