Bottled, from Systembolaget, Stockholm. Cloudy deep golden, mid sized head. Fruity peach aroma. Sweet with clean mouthfeel and above medium body. Peach and pears, crystal malt and marzipan. White pepper and paper in the finish. Too sweet and clean/shallow, much like lesser successful overseas attempts of Belgian style beer.

500ml bottle from K-Supermarket Kamppi

Pours clear yellowish orange with a foamy white head. Aroma of fruits, hops, lemon, malts and caramel. Taste is fruity and mildly hoppy with some grassy lemony notes and hints of malts. Finish is sweetish and biscuity with hints of fruity hops and grassy bitterness. Nice, quite easy going but tasty blonde ale.

(Bottle, 0.375 l, at Solmu, shared with VastActiv, 20121012) The beer poured very black. No head was produced. Aroma had roasted malts, roasty bread and cocoa beans. Palate was full bodied with quite low carbonation. Flavours were roasted malts, sweetness, liquorice, ash, more sweetness, mildly sourness and quite low bitterness. Aftertaste was ashy and roasty. Too sweet.

500ml bottle picked up at Kihoskh in Copenhagen. Frothy, fawn-coloured head. Nice lace pattern to the glass. Near-clear, dark amber coloured body. Hoppy aroma with dark fruits alongside hints of earthy malts. Fruit hoppy taste mixed with dark malts. Nice bittersweet ending Oily palate. Not a typical version of the style. Pleasing, anyway. Bottled@SBWF2012. Hazy golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity along with some herbs and earth. Quite pleasantly farmyardy and earthy as well. Flavour is farmyard, some citrus, mild yeast and quite sweet. Kind of like a Saison meeting a tripel.
