Bottle, enormous thanks Mr. Papsø! 8 years old and from a defunct brewery, now that's a share! Pitch black almost, but brown aorund the edges, no head. Chocolate, earthy rye, oxidized maltiness and light alcohol in the aroma, grapes. The dust is a bit heavy, but the other notes are quite nice. Lean, soft, smooth taste, caramel, slightly dusty grapes, bourbon, vanilla, milk caramel, vague soy. Pleasant, well balanced, tasty, suffered a little from the age, but I can see the 4.0 rates when it was in the prime.

0.33 l bottle, huge thanks to Marko for sharing with Ogi and myself. Oily black, minimal head. Alcohol. Dried fruit, prunes. Carrob. Molasses. Syrupy. Oak. Smooth, oily, sticky. Drinkable. Wood and oak. Cardboard. Slightly spicy, might be the rye. Lasting finish, some chocolate sweetness. Potent, strong, quite delicious.

15th May 2021 Bottle. First rating for half a decade! I'm sure this is going to go well! Opaque dark brown beer, residual dark tan head. Palate is smooth and viscous, the carbonation levels here are registering but only just. No problem for a 14% Impy. Smooth rich dark malts, good dose of dark malt cream. Tons of caramel and cream. Chocalate syrip is the spine of this one. Ripe pruney fruits underneath hand in hand with good jammy red fruits, rich and intoxicating. Ripe fruity brandy in abundance on the back end. Smooth spicy finish. Ye god's - thought this would be a bit beyond its best but no, I reckon you could safely put another 3 -5 years on to this beast. But don't be afraid to drink now. Hugely rich and rewarding. I really liked Stronzo, sad to see them go under some years back but nice to see their legacy strolling on in beers like this.
