Bottle. Nice creamy head with excellent duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich roast malt, chocolate, coffee, licorice and hops. Nice long roasty bitter finish. Well aged.

Bottle at RBJG2. Dark brown, very thick. Aroma lots of darkness, booze. Taste is sweet honey, boozy, but not so much. Pretty good. Much more subtle than expected.

Bottle from thewolf, thanks! Orange golden color. Grapefruit, pineapple and oily hops in the aroma. Red berries. Oily hopbitter flavor with loads of red and citrus fruit. Very refreshing beer with a bite.

Bottle from thewolf, thanks! Grapefruit, lemon and oily hops in the aroma. Oily plastic hopbitter flavor with citrus notes. Thinnish. Flavorful.

(Bottle) Black colour with brief, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with liquorice, soy sauce, strong and sweet black coffee, cacao, caramel, brandy, raisins and a touch of alcohol. Malty, roasted, vinous taste with notes of liquorice, sweet espresso, soy sauce, caramel, treacle, raisins, cognac, some wood and a vinous and sweet finish with a balanced bitterness. Full body, with oily mouthfeel. Sweet. Hardly balanced, but really tasty and quite warming. Very nice.

(Bottle) Black colour with brief, foamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of espresso coffee, liquorice, cacao, dried fruit, black rye bread, green peppers and orange peel. Malty, roasted taste with strong black sweet coffee, dark chocolate, cacao, dried fruit, sweet liquorice, black rye bread, orange peel and a balanced cacao bitterness in a warming and vinous finish. Almost full body, quite sweet. Tasty and warming, but hardly balanced. Distinct sweet coffee character. Nice one.
