Bottle from BarleyWine, Copenhagen - fuzzy amber to golden pour with good medium persistent head. Fruity ctirus hoppy aroma and taste, plenty of mandarin, lemon, pine, caramel malty, great bitter finish. Gorgeous.

Pitch black with a small, creamy, tan head. Aroma and taste of dried fruit, some alcohol (rum) and some oak. Low carbonation and with a sweetish finish. No burnt tones whatsoever. This idea with Zacapa 23yr flambéed fruits is genius.

Keg at Man in The Moon, Stockholm. Perfectly black, small beige head. Perfumy nose with blueberry and licirice. Sweet and dense with full body. Honey and dates, licorice and port. Harmonious amidst the onslaught of flavours. Warming mid bitter finish.

Big light brown creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet roasted, dark malts, caramel, roasted coffee, chocolate, rye bread, grass, roasted grain, weeds. Taste is slightly sour-ish roasted, espresso, rye bread, dark malts, grass, ashtray, burnt caramel, dark fruits. Longlasting bitterness, dry mouthfeel. Nice.

Hazy deep amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is airy with fine minerally carbonation. Airy light malt, dry, with touches of cream and toffee. Hops start with mildly tangy citrus, tangerine and grapefruit. Some pretty bitter pine and floralness develops. Finishes crisp and dry with a little juicy tangy ripe orange, strong bitter linger. Bitter bastard!
