Can 44 cl. Pours a clear, orangey amber with a creamy, fluffy and lacing off-white head. Oxidized caramelly nose. Medium body, sweet crystal malts with a slight bitterness. No real aromatic hops, but pleasant and old school. 220226

clear golden, smooth offwhite to beige head.
earthy malty, honey , stale fruit-cocktail, almost faint mouldy fruity notes in the aroma. seems a bit off, or very malty. Flavor is malty, slightly fruity, not much bitterness.

clear amber to light brown, light brown bubbly but lasting head.
really nice malty bisquity and crisp hoppy aroma, very malty and intense for a braunstein, hops are intense enough to be noticed but does not disrupt the very nice malty dominance. pretty good high-intensity balance.
flavor is malty, nutty, bitter malty, bitter hoppy, quite european in its flavor, reminds me of more traditional beer i've tasted in london pubs, with a twist of course, but flavor wise.. also reminds me of the best of spanish macro's when they try to do something a bit more intense. it's almost like there are notes from booze soaked wood chips. Also tastes like the better half of danish brown ale.

Can 44 cl. Pours nutty brown with a slight haze and a small, off-white head. Fatty, oxidized caramel notes with dark dry fruity notes and mellow oak. Rich, fatty, boozy body with more of the above. I believe this has some age, but it has indeed aged with grace. 130126
