Tasting at Matt’s; 11% ABV
Black color. Dark caramel and wood aroma, some glue too. Good body strength, yet the mouthfeel is lean; nice degree of sweetness; the dark malt and dark chocolate flavor is very nice, with a touch of marshmallow in the end. Alcohol warmth.
Excellent.

500mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is very complex, with notes of oak, vanilla, bourbon barrels, and chocolate. Flavour is along the same lines, with lush notes of vanilla, bourbon barrels, chocolate and some oak. Super cohesive and complex, with not too much sweetness. Barrel aging done to perfection. Really excellent.

Bottle - Lots of orange and starchy notes. Clearish gold with a small white head. Sweet, orange peel and and a starchy finish. Not bad.

Bottle pour and split at Matt’s. Happy to help you pull away in the imperial ratings. Pours a golden color with a patchy foam head. A ton of orange fruit aroma and flavor. Actually has a fresh orange slice feel to it which is very nice. Low bitter finish. Lingering orange. Unique. Very well done.

500mL bottle, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out tropical fruits, juiciness, piney hops, resin and caramel malt. Flavour is fairly bitter, with orange rinds, tropical fruits, resinous hops, and big caramel malt. Bitter, sweet and fruity. Maybe a little old, but I love the balance. Excellent.

Strange aroma, flowery, tree sap, light aroma of hop. Lean body; delicate malt flavor; good degree of bitterness, some hop resins, but overall not enough hop quality; blossom qualities.
A bit weird. More was expected, but it’s still a very good beer.

22 Oz bottle poured. Pours a bright orange color with almost no head. So these guys are from Rancho Santa Margarita. That even a real place? The answer is yes, I confirmed it on urban dictionary. Heavy yeast profile aroma. Flavor is light grassy, and big fruit. Easy drinking lager for sure. Pretty good stuff.
