Dark brownish-black pour with a medium tan head that recedes steadily. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of black coffee and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of roasted coffee, burnt malt and hops. The finish is roasty with a lingering bitter coffee and dark chocolate aftertaste. Solid Coffee Stout overall.

Thanks to JPDurden24 for sharing this. It pours a clear gold with a white head of foam. The aroma is nice and estery with pears and apples and lagery yeastiness around the edges. The taste is similar with sweet apple and pear esters mixing with a bit of bitter hoppy spiciness. To midway the hop spiciness gets a little more earthy and gravel like in its bitterness. This offers a nice blend of sweet esters and bitter hoppiness. I like it.

Capped 750 from Bine & Vine. Pours hazy orange with a transient head. Aroma is fruity. Med body. Flavor is musty oak and rather tropical fruit. Woody pineapple. Very interesting. Finishes oaky. Not much grape, just a hint at the end.

Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours black with a slight creamy dark tan head. Aroma of coffee and chocolate. And definitely bourbon/vanilla. Full bodied. Flavor is oaky with vanilla, coffee, chocolate and oak? So there’s no coffee in this? Don’t agree. Finishes smooth, almost creamy. And bourbon.

Sampled at GABF. Pours a hazy, light gold with some eggshell head. The brewers told us they use the Dupont yeast strain. No surprise, smells just like Dupont, peppery, star fruit, malt. Flavor is sweet, pineapple, pear, white pepper. Dry chalky finish. Over estery and a bit unbalanced.
