Bottle. Hazy amber with small to medium off-white head. Aroma of oak, pine, caramel, biscuit, lemongrass and some light booze. Taste is light sweet and medium to high bitter with some caramel and booze. Medium to full bodied with medium carbonation. Pretty decent but I don’t entirely get along with it.

Bottle at RBSG 2012. Chocolate and red wine nose. Sweet milky flavor, with berries, vanilla, chocolate and a sour tang. Nicely smooth body. A strange, rather original beer.

Bottle at RBSG 2012. Cloudy blonde color with thick lace. Nose of lemon, butter, vanilla, pilsner malt. Big vanilla and oak flavor with butter, honey, malts. Lightly sour. Too much really, with the oaked chardonnay taking over, and feels a lot like diacetyl. interesting, though.

75 cl bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity, light phenolic and dry. Sweet fruity flavoured, light phenolic and mild yeasty. Smooth and lingering wineous into the finish.

75 cl bottle. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small off white head. Aroma is wineous, dark roasted malty and fruity. Dark malty, full bodied red wine feel and flavour. Fruity and dark roasted malty. Medium dry and lasting fruity.

Draught at Four Point LAX. Pale gold color. Wheaty, biscuity nose. Flavor of wheat bread, slightly buttered, light hops, though nicely f¥dry finish and lightly spicy and peppery. Drinkable but far from impressive.

Draft @ Select Beer Store, Redondo Beach, CA. Pours a slightly hazy golden orange color with a white head. Jas a fruity malty yeasty grainy aroma. Sweetish malty grainy flavor with weak grassy hints. Has a fruity malty grainy hoppy bitter finish.

From tap qt Four points. Pours hazy yellow with a small white heas. Aroma is dry, peppery and light spiced. Bitter and dry into the finish. Bitter and dry peppery into the finish.

From tap at Brewco, Manhattan. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma is dark roasted and brwadish malty. Sweet, dark chocolate, liqourice and vague tarish roasted malt. Lingering dark roasted malty finish.

Draught at Brü, Irvine. Clear, golden liquid with white head. Aroma of pepper, wheat, cereal, bubble gum and lemons. Taste is dry and light bitter with notes of pepper and wheat. Light bodied with medium to high carbonation. OK but a bit bland.
