Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 10C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch LWK004 (BBF 03/19). AROMA: medium yeast aroma, followed by solvent-like alcohol, low roasted malt and very faint maillard. APPEARANCE: dark amber and clear. large tanned head with good retention. TASTE: medium to medium-high yeast flavor, followed by low lacqer alcohol, acidic presence and a slight underattenuated malt character. low bitterness with a dry finish. PALATE: medium body with medium-high carbonation. slight acidic bite. OVERALL: a weizenbock with recipe formulation errors and wrong yeast strain.
