Draught, half pint. @«Brew Coimbra 2019», Coimbra (Portugal). 13/09/2019. Clear golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma is medium malty and biscuits. Taste is malty and soft floral leading to a soft bitter finish. Next one please!

Tap @ The Beer Station, 9%. Very dark brown with medium beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate and caramel .Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, sweet, liquorice and medium bitter.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 10C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch LWK004 (BBF 03/19). AROMA: medium yeast aroma, followed by solvent-like alcohol, low roasted malt and very faint maillard. APPEARANCE: dark amber and clear. large tanned head with good retention. TASTE: medium to medium-high yeast flavor, followed by low lacqer alcohol, acidic presence and a slight underattenuated malt character. low bitterness with a dry finish. PALATE: medium body with medium-high carbonation. slight acidic bite. OVERALL: a weizenbock with recipe formulation errors and wrong yeast strain.

Bottle from cervejaportuguesa.com. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and moderate hoppy - fruity. Flavor is medium sweet and moderae bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 130718
