Sampled somewhere in Copenhagen, notes don’t say where. Hazy yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste malts, bitter hops, lightly fruity, slightly a touch of herbs. Medium body and carbonation. Nice beer.

Tap at Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Colour is black with tiny brown head. Aromas and flavours: Coffee, hints of chocolate and roasted malts. Coffee dominates but still quite soft taste.

Draught at Man in the Moon. A rather spicy aroma of ginger bread. A light bitter brew, dominated by elder and grape seeds.

(Keg at Pikkulintu, 20130508) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and light brown. Aroma had roasted malts, liquorice and creamy coffee. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were roasted malts, liquorice, ash, coffee, hops and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, ashy and bitter. A tasty roasty brew. A bit too burnt.

Draught at CBC. Frothy lightbrown good mostly deminishing head. Black colour. Heavy malty and light hoppy aroma. Roasted. Heavy bitter wonderfull flavor. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate.

On tap at Grünerløkka brygghus. Almost clear golden to orange, with a white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, malt and citrus with hints of pine and herbs. Moderate sweet with lovely fruity flavours and a balanced bitterness. Finishes a bit dry with citrus and hints of spices. Medium body with pretty average carbonation. Nice APA, tasty and refreshing.

Draught @ Hagabion. Pours hazy pale golden with a small frothy white head that lowly dissipates while leaving a small trace on the glass. Smell is fruity, tiny floral and tiny herbal with crackers, pink grapefruit juice, passionfruit, pineapple, apricots, gooseberries, freshly cut grass, pine needles, lemon balm, lemon zest and hints of starfruit, black currant jelly and lemongrass. Taste is bitter and fruity with crackers, pineapple, pink grapefruit juice, passionfruit, very ripe gooseberries, apricots, starfruit, papaya, freshly cut grass, black currant leaves, lemon zest, pine needles, green grapes and hints of cedar-like resinous wood. Mouthfeel is crisp, dry, tiny astringent and light bodied. Finish is bitter and fruity with crackers, starfruit, passionfruit, gooseberries, black currant leaves, lemon balm, freshly cut grass, dried apricots, grapefruit rinds, lemon zest and pine needles.
