Aroma is deep malty caramel chocolate slight coffee a whole range of herbal hops. Taste is balanced bitter heavy and sweetish malt. Complex heavy caramel texture. Drinkable. Marvelous.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours golden with a slight haze and a creamy, white head. Nose is mostly phenollic, no real hop freshness. Medium body, a slight fruitiness to be polite, and then only raw bitterness and again a phenollic edge. No real pleasure. 230718

Bottle picked up from Mas Ibus Despacho de Cervezas, Torrelavega consumed at home, Thursday 12th July 2018 Pours dark brown with an off white head. Some sweet malts mingle with a light smokiness on the nose. In the mouth it has a robust roasty, smokey but malty edge, love this beer, very good indeed. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 3.9

Bottle picked up from Mas Ibus Despacho de Cervezas, Torrelavega consumed sat at the Brittany ferry port, Bilbao, Monday 9th July 2018 Gold in colour with a slim white head. A touch sweet, the crystal malt is a bit too forward with this beer. There is a bitterness here but a little too much light fruity toffee. It’s ok but could have been better. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.4

On tap at Vacceo Craft Beer bar, Valladolid, Spain, Sunday 1st July 2018. Pours black with large cushion of beige foam. It's roasty and bitter but also has a nice smoothness, this is a very nice imperial stout served at a great temperature as well. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8
