Dark brown. Not much head. Chocolatey aroma with some vanilla. The inspiration is Boston Cream Pie. On the palate there is so much more depth than the aroma predicted…chocolate sure but also vanilla, rum barrel, gentle dark sugars and a touch of fruitiness.

Opaque and pale. Weedy nose, little bit of skink cabbage but somehow not in a bad way. Alcohol in the finish, medium bitterness, some citrus.

Pale gold with a thick head. Spicy, herbaceous hop nose…that is an interesting character. They’re using NZ Cascades and Tettanger in this. Medium body, lowish bitterness. The oats make the body feel richer than it really is.

Small pour. Appearance: light copper with a white head. Aroma: a lot of raspberries with some other berries, too. Taste: dry, but fruity. Overall: very easy drinking stuff.
