Can shared by CLW--thanks, Chris! as part of "No two styles alike tasting." Opaque black with thin head fading to ring, trace lacing. Aroma is strong earthy roasted malt, pumpernickel/brown bread. Taste is strong earthy, roasted malt, brown bread/pumpernickel, toffee, dark chocolate. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation, finish as taste. Nice version of the style.

16 oz can. Aroma shows caramel and toasted grain. Flavor of toffee, bread crust and a soft mineral in the finish. Molasses hints. Medium body with crisp texture. Drinks easy.

Post work beer after a very busy day here. Crisp, floral, refreshing. Looking forward to getting home and watching some Phillies baseball and hockey.

Out of style for a West Coast IPA. Muted aroma and muddled, predominantly oniony hop profile with little bitterness, pine or citrus character that should be present for the style.

16 oz can poured, picked up at Norm's Market, Lake Stevens.bright, hazy orange. Cream foam. Pretty equal parts pine and citrus on the nose. Very much reminds me of the hazy that is brewed here in the NW, so I suppose the roots are coming through on this one. Piney hops up front on the flavor, moderately bitter, cream body, cool melon and citrus notes that fill the palate. Flavorful hazy, nothing chalky. Well put together hazy IPA for sure.

16 oz can. Do the ingredients sound strange? Yes. Is it a bad idea to put cheesecake in a beer? Yes. Yet somehow it works and is pretty balanced. The berries are tart enough to counter act the marshmallow and chocolate.
Another good thing here is this isn’t as thick, and chunky as others in the series. Tastes good.

16 oz can. Aroma of pink grapefruit, Orange, marmalade and soft herbs. Flavors exactly the same with a soft cooking herb bitterness. Alcohol is pretty hidden for the 8.5%. Not overly juicy and shows a nice balance. Good drink!
