Oak aged version of Macle.
Deep, golden, almost bronze pour, no head.
Deep aroma of apples, honey, and pears, with hints of vanilla and wood. the mouth feel seems more viscous than the regular Macle. The finish is a tad sweeter, with light notes of wood and vanilla.

Bottle at the Mondiale de la Biere. Dark brown viscous pour. Aroma of honey, oak, vanilla, and lots of dark fruits. Flavor is very very sweet, to be expected, and has a nice honey finish with a touch of toffee. Pretty nice.

Super sweet, loads of apples, and honey, and some light flowers. Surprisingly its leans more towards tart that sweet, which is odd for an iced cider. Thick mouth feel, and warms as it goes down.

Bottle. Clear dark amber to light brown. Caramel, soft cinnamon, oxidized apple juice, pecan, walnuts, alcohol. Solid sweet, light sour and bitter. Full bodied, over medium dry. Nice but a bit too oxidized and some off esters. Overall quite good.

Bottle pour at La Cidrerie, pours a clear dark golden. Nose is full of rich caramelized brown sugar, toffee, and stewed apples - yum. Flavour is beautifully decadent, with toffee, brown sugar, treacle, and stewed apples. Rich, viscous and complex. Sure, it's not the best ice cider out there, but it's certainly excellent.
