Dark brownish gold pour. still but definite alcohol swirling around in the glass. looks like this is going to be an intense one. Wow. refined and baked honey into a pie with apple pieces and butter aroma. Smells like a boozy dessert fortified wine. Mint, toothpaste, sweet honey, apple and a definite prune juice finish. Intense and too much like a port with mint added.

Tasting at Matt’s, ceramic bottle
Golden color. Nice aroma, it gets quite close to an Ice Cider. Moderately sweet, nice flavor, that’s the mead, with a nice fruity side, but also some weird bitterness that is a bit out of place, but overall it’s a nice drink.

Bottle - Apple and nice sweet honey notes. Clear gold. Honey and some apple bitterness. Not well balanced.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a tiny white head. Aroma brings out tons of baked apples upfront, followed by medium sweet honey, and treacle. Flavour isn't as nice, with lots of stewed and baked apples, followed by loads of boozy alcohol, and light honey. Boozy and not elegant. It's not well-calibrated. Smells better than it tastes.

This has a light amber colour, with some legs. The aroma is full of honey - quite sweet like clover - and a lot of apple. Sweet, but with a fair bit of alcohol. Lots of spiciness, cinnamon in particular. Ok, though maybe a bit on the hot side.

Bouteille 750ml. Couleur acajou voilée, épais film sur les parois du verre. Arôme de miel, alcool, bois, touche florale, miel foncé. Goût de miel, cassonade, boisé, alcool, sucré, touche épicé en fin de bouche. Absence de carbonatation, corps dense, collant.
