Pint at the taproom. Pours a clear, bronze color, with a big, frothy, cream head. The aroma is dried grass, wheat bread, orange peel, and roses. Sweet and malty, with a pleasant, mild bitterness. Light body, with a smooth, crisp palate. This is an easy and surprisingly deep beer. Quality.

Pint at the brewery - lightly hazy orange - clean fermented lager, here, with some rich but clean maltiness (some Munich richness seems present) - the rye is mild and the smoke is understated, which for me is disappointing, as a like my smoked lagers a la Schlenkerla - still, as a malty lager, it works pretty well.

Pint at the Wit's End/Strange combo taproom - clear orange - fairly clean and decently-done maibock - rich maltiness that is perhaps a bit too toasty and breast, making it more like an "imperial Vienna" or something like that - honey, grass - finishes clean with a light bitterness - fairly good strong lager.

On tap at the Denver Winter Brew Fest. Pours a dark, ruby brown, with a small, bubbly, tan head. The nose is cinnamon, brown bread, dates, pine, and cedar. Sweet, with just a bit of a sour and bitter flavor. Medium body, with a chewy, lightly acidic, and kinda harsh mouthfeel. This is a pretty tasty beer, if a little hard.
