Poured up on tap at The Attic where it exhibits a near clear deep gold body that supports a bright white head of foam that leaves behind some sheet lacing. Nice. Served way too damn icy cold by the way. The aroma offers up a thin hit of malts and then an inviting spicy onion dankness and pine hops. The taste delivers a smooth introduction to thin malt sweetness and growing spicy bitter danky goodness. The bitterness grows to firm levels as bitter pine hoppiness joins in. Damn fine brew.

Sampled from the tap at Aces n Ales Tenaya Way. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma is pine forward supported by resin and grass with a grain backbone. Flavor is similar with grass and pine throughout and a light resin and grain backing.

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours translucent coppery gold with a white head. Aroma of roasty malt and citrus. A little cooked fruit. Med body or so. Flavor is cooked pale fruits, roasty malt, and something like a little diacetyl, but might be a pineapple note. It's not very dry, it's not very bitter. I don't get it.
