Bottle shared with shrubber85. Caramel malt, peat, oak, and soapy aroma. Amber with a gargantuan tan head. Caramel malt, citric tartness, tannic oak, and bitter flavor. Something about the citric/bitter/tannic combo clashed a bit, and would have balanced better with a little more sweetness.. Light to medium body with a dry finish.

Bottle. Sweet caramel malt, lactic acid and oak aroma. Clear amber with explosive head. Sweet caramel malt and acidically bitter citrus flavor. Nice body. Not bad - pretty tart. Would have like a more forward maltiness.

Bottle. Musty lemon malt and coriander aroma. Hazy golden yellow color with nice white head and moderate effervescence. Lightly sweet lemon malt and mild musty flavor. Body on the light side. Very nice. As a cutter (at least by reputation but not occupation), I was happy that this was so good.

Bomber. Cloudy yellow-gold body with a fizzy white head. Aroma of toasted grain, flowers, soap suds, lemon. The flavor is lightly sweet and lightly bitter. The finish is lightly sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Thin to medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. Grainy lemon taste. Rough around the edges with raw grain and soapy flavors alongside citrus. Overly carbonated.

5.9/10 β€” Appearance 8 Aroma 6 Flavor 5 Texture 6 Overall 5.5
Bomber. Cloudy, deep golden body with orange highlights. Frothy white head, fully lasting. The aroma is citrus with notes of tangerine and grapefruit. Hints of toasted grain and leafy hops. The flavor is lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Also, it displays some vinegary notes in the finish, as if it came off an unclean tap line. Medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. Lots of citrus with muted bitterness β€” and that acidity in the finish that just doesn’t belong there. Not as refined nor as clean as better IPAs.
