Growler at RBWG ’15 Grand Tasting @ Coppertail, thanks to whomever shared this one, 21/02/15. Dark chestnut brown with a moderate light beige covering. Nose is big in peppercorns, dark malt, light spice, dark fruit. Taste comprises tarte fruit rinds, pepper, spice, light malt bill, yeast esters. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok saison, does what it says on the tin.

Growler in trade from jcwattsrugger, thanks for the opportunity! Deep golden color, big floral pine citrus hoppy aromas with a bit of sweet and earthy funk. Sweet sugary maltiness is a bit much at times. Solid earthy yeasty funk provides balance and is assisted by some citrus and earthy hop flavors. Nice saison, I’m glad I got to try it.
