Description

On tap at T’Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 03.03.12 Pours black with a mid sized tan head. This is quite roasty with bacony flavours, tangy, fruity and yes roastiness really shows well. Unusual but I rather liked this. . A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.5

37.5cl Bottle with a really nice paper wrapper around it, explaining a bit of the history of the SNAB brewery, from De Bierkoning. Deep dark brown to black colour, off white to beige head. Aroma of meaty smoke, chocolate, roasted malts. Flavour is light sweet, roasted malts, some tar, bit of caramel, light earthy smoke, hint of chocolate, moccha, roasted bitter finish with some smoke. Light to medium bodied, fizzy carbonation. OK smoked porter.
