Sampled from bottle at "Hooghe Noorden Tasting 2025". Dark red color, no head. Aroma and flavor are heavy red fruit, sourish red fruit, very intense, over the top for me and not very balanced. Meh.

8 3 8 3 16 Bottle shared at THT June ’17. 9 year old bottle shared thanks to Sjogro at July THT ’17. Clear golden with a ring off white head. Aroma of coconut upfront, with floral honey certainly present behind along with notes of raisins. Flavour is heavy sweet. Above medium bodied. Maybe the age has changed this from what it was, but its drinking very well. [16/06/2017]

Sampled from bottle at THT June at kwartje. Stored in a cupboard about 9 years ago I lost they key off and recently found the broken key and had it fixed. Found this bottle and shared it tonight. Clear golden with no head. Sweet honey, coconut milk, nutmeg. Big sweet, light bitter and a touch of tart dry cork. Medium body and low carbonation.

Bottle shared at THT. Clear golden with barely any head. Quite flowery, soft coconut, fresh apricot and orange, light sweet strawberries, pineapple, some honey, sweet cognac booze. Quite sweet and very soft sour. Medium bodied and no carbonation. Lovely.

Bottle from Mitra Bunnik, small sample. Clear pale yellow, almost colorless, not leaving much viscosity. Aroma of flowery honey, slight white wine, fruity grapes. Like its a mix of white wine and honey mead (and water). Soft honey sweetness, flowery, slight refreshing fruitiness. On one hand, it feels a bit diluted, on the other hand it makes it less cloying and very easy to sip. I do like it as a drink.

sample courtesy of Worldbeertaste. No head or carbonation. Pale golden pour. Sweet honey taste. Some alcohol but well hidden. Smooth and easy to drink.

gouden helder zonder kraag aroma: honing zoet en iets wijnachtig smaken: zacht, wijnachtige tonen deze had ik in een honingwijn verwacht maar niet zozeer in een mede, mooie honing zoet en niet overdreven, zuurtje is niet onaangenaam, iets van peer, alcohol, niet slecht eigenlijk en best leuk voor de prijs
