Bottle: Clear, dark amber with basically no head. Smells like tea...... Taste is.....well.....tea, but the really abominable over-sweetened kind that comes canned... Sugar, lemon/honey, sugar.... Clingy and filmy feeling. Not good at all.

12 oz bottle, thanks brenn79. Looks like I’m in for a treat. Aroma of berries; smells like a wine cooler. Pours clear pink with no head; looks like a wine cooler. Tastes sweet and a bit tart; tastes like a wine cooler, and nothing like a strawberry rhubarb pie or any kind of beer. If it walks like a duck, etc, etc. What a joke.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours bright gold with a slight, transient white head. Cinnamon apple aroma. Cinnamon apple flavor. A bit sweet. Suggests the brown sugary parts of an apple pie. Arguably proving City Brewery can brew something that’s not disgusting.

Bottle: Clear gold with a quick white head. Apple, ginger, vanilla scent. Taste is baked apple, cinnamon, vanilla, pie crust. This one actually has a hint of Beer to it, but not much. Very sweet.....honestly, it’s pretty tasty, but I don’t think I could drink 2 back-to-back......

Bottle: Crystal clear pink with a busy, fizzy white head that’s gone before the pour is complete......actually sort of cool and violent. Candy strawberry, sugar aroma. Tart strawberry, sugar taste.....didn’t pick up much vanilla....but, in my defense, the taste buds have surrendered at this point...I feel like I’ve just allowed a whole sleeve of Sweet-Tarts to dissolve under my tongue. An Alco-Pop the likes of which I have not seen since the heady 80’s days of Fletcher and Oakes Wine Coolers......the flavour isn’t bad, but it’s ridiculously sweet and a far cry from anything resembling a beer.

12 oz. bottle. Aroma is cinnamon, apples, and malt. Yes it smells good but I am skeptical about this malt beverage.
The flavor is ok for the first sip or two. Then it just becomes sweet and syrupy. Can’t taste any alcohol through all the apple and cinnamon.
Like drinking carbonated apple pie filling. Certainly worse things to drink (and I almost finished the bottle) but more like a soda pop than beer.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a medium yellow color with a trace white head that faded instantly?and left no lacing. The aroma was sweet vanilla, a touch of cinnamon and apple. The flavor was sweet apple and cinnamon with some vanilla. Long finish. Medium body.
Drinking apple pie? Do it like this
Fuck this wizardy. This is iced tea

Bottle. A- Strong cinnamon, vanilla, baked apples. A- Gold color, clear liquid, no head. T- Cinnamon, vanilla, baked apples, apple crisp, sweet. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, sweet finish. O- By God, this tastes just like an apple crisp. So most people aren’t a fan. and frankly I consider this more of a cider myself but I will plead guilty and admit I like it!
