OK, got this for 2 bucks in a mixed six pack off the bargain shelf. It looks surprizingly like the other stardust. Somewhat hazy pale with a yellow tinted head and a thicker off white head. Aroma of tangerine is certainly present. I wonder since the original had the same nose if they just added some tangerine to make up for the unexpected olfactory, is what they are doing here. The fruit is pretty forward at first gulp, but then the IPA heavy hop thing kicks in; this is by no mistake a flavored double imperial IPA, thank you. Yea, its mind numbing alky content is going right to the brain, whew. So big, so nasty, so kick yer ass, is this. I'm thinking I'm going to catch a buzz on this happy BS. One big buzz on one can, yay! Except for the tangerine flavor, this is one bad ass beer; its nasty as ever for the lager lover. Great Gatsby, this is difficult to take. Rude-ass arrogant IPA that tries to deceive the drinker with some real life tangerine citrus flavors. Go figger; its straight up, forget yer brainy attitude. There you have it. WHEW! OK for a mouthcoating hoppy volatile RB tick but I'll never get this again. I'm seriously wondering how they can retail this for less than 2 bucks? Got to be at least 4$ worth of bitter hops in this. Oh well. Its a fact: Absolute, evident, irrefutable, unassailable, undeniable, and unquestionable.

Got this can for buck fitty off the bargain shelf. Date code is unreadable. I bet it's pretty old. As it sits in the glass, I can smell the odor of rude sweet body odor hop perfumed candy permeating the air. The eye is cloudy off pale with a thin pond scum head. First taste is volatile bitter hops, followed by a mild warming sensation down the throat. Whew; this is one big fat over-the-top rototiller churning across my taste buds. Wow, a big boozy brew that almost comes across like there is whisky in this stuff. Idaho 7 and away we go, off to another world. I'd swear there is much more alky in this than stated, did I say whew yet? A quick surprising left hook right in the jaw. Oh baby! In the end it's just another alky bomb that is so fricken bitter, but thankfully I think I'm ketchen a buzz on the finish. There, you have it. Buzzy beer fer sher.

On tap at North High - Columbus, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out plenty of roasted malt and oat-like character upfront, with a substantial amount of woody hops. Flavour is rich, with tons of deep roasted malt, a hearty oat-like character, and a substantial hop character. Rich and rounded without being brutal at all. Doesn't stand out among the world's best RISs, but it's very nice.

On tap at North High - Columbus, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out subtle piney hops, a touch of grass, and crisp biscuity. Flavour is crisp and biting, with a spicy, grassy and somewhat piney hop character, a touch of melon-like fruitiness, and a very thin biscuity malt base. Carbonation is bright, almost this is sparkling. Interesting one that drinks very well. Very good.

On tap at North High - Columbus, pours a clear orange with a small beige head. Aroma is pretty subdued, with sweet bready malt and not much else. Flavour is more assertive, with big bready malt, and some sweet candied orange. Clean but a bit too sweet — seems a touch under-attenuated. It's decent.

On tap at North High - Columbus, pours a clear pale golden with a small beige head. Aroma brings out a fungal, earthy hop character, with light pine, and biscuity malt. Flavour has a slightly better hop character, but still has that earthy, sweaty character, with gentle pine, and bready malt. Hop expression isn't ideal but it's a clean, sturdy beer. Decent.
