Can from the 6DN webshop. It pours pretty much near black with a small deep tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, has a lovely big hit of coffee on the snout, espresso, nutty, chocolate, praline, forrero rocher, splash of cola, light source and wood. The taste is dry, rich roasted malt, bitter - sweet, bitterness lingers, charred oak, plenty of dark chocolate, dark roasted coffee, espresso, toasted nut, praline, woody, some umami, liquorice and rocky road with a nutty, coffee finish. Fulsome body and fine, prickly carbonation. Nice depth of flavour and for me personally great balance. Far from being too sweet. Tasty.

Can direct from the brewery. It pours lightly hazy golden - amber with a small white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, honeyed cereal, bready, sponge cake, grassy, herbal, damp, pear drops, melon and some crunchy nut cornflakes. The taste is dry, bitter, green, weedy, herbal, jaegermeister, bready malt, peppery spice, boozey heat, only a mellow honey character, hay and a touch of icing sugar with a drying, herbal finish. Medium+ body and fine to moderate frothy carbonation. Has boozy punch to it anyway. Not a huge amount of depth, but enjoyable anyhow.

Can from 6DN's website. It pours darkest brown to black with a a quickly dissipating bubbly head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, oily, decadent, bitter toffee, sticky toffee pudding, dried fruits, raisin, sultana, raisin, fruit cake, whisky fudge, whisky soaked oak, nutty, coffee, gingerbread, milk chocolate and maple syrup. The taste is slick, thick, oily, sticky toffee pudding, whisky fudge, boozy heat, toothy, chewy, tannin, whisky soaked oak, some burnt toast, brown bread, nutty, toasted spice, gingersnaps, some umami and coffee grounds with a warming and chewy finish. Full body, fine carbonation and thick, oily mouth feel. Flavourful, but very thick, sweet and decadent. Heavy duty.
