Can from The Marine Hotel, Stonehaven. It pours dirty blonde with a small fluffy white head. The aroma is fragrant, floral, zingy, lime sherbet, elderflower, gooseberry, white grape, pear, soor plooms and some biscuit. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, touch tart, puckering , grape must, crunchy green fruits, gooseberry, white grape, pear skin, apple cake, floral accents and a touch of spice with a drying finish. Average body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Lovely aroma, perhaps sits a bit heavy on the palate though.

Can from Asda. Hazy pale golden body with a thick white head (it looks like Duvel). Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of white pepper, salted lemon and doughy bread. Flavour of lemon and straw with a tangy, peppery finish. Thin body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft fizz. A tasty, hoppy beer with a tangy yeast character. This is very good and much improved from when I last tried it (way back in 2013).

Can from Sainsbury's Berryden. Assumed I had this before. It pours lightly hazy pink with a frothy white head. The aroma is sweet - sour, tart, tangy, fresh raspberry, fruit wine, tangy, cranberry and a touch of sherbet. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, puckering, tangy, mild acidity, fresh raspberry character, fruit wine, raspberry pip and a touch of tannin with a dry finish. Average body and fine, prickly carbonation. Nice balance to this. A world away from sweet artificial fruit beer.
