About
six°north was established in 2013. The concept was born in Belgium when founder Robert Lindsay fell in love with the country’s beer culture and tradition. He soon returned to north east Scotland to start brewing his own beers, six°north of Brussels. We make modern, artisanal beers that are driven by Belgian brewing tradition and inspired by modern brewing practices.

Our beers are unfiltered and carbonated naturally through secondary fermentation. We brew classic Belgian inspired beers, as well as modern, hop-forward styles. We also release a number of collaboration beers each year with other breweries.

Drukket på Lillehøgda. Varm gyldenbrun. Nesten klar. Middels høyt kritthvitt luftig skum som daler sakte. Aroma av vannmelon & sitrusfrukt. Smaken drukner i for mye kullsyre. Aner litt syrlig tropisk frukt med en tørr avslutning. Burpeøl.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - hazy light yellow. No head. Nose - floral honey and light Saison spice. Taste - honey again, just enough of the Saison yeast to cleanse the palate. Palate - light bodied, a bit thin. Fairly clean finish as mentioned. Overall - solid citizen.

Bottle from the Harbour brewery online shop shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours clear golden with a short-lived thin white head. Aromas are floral, earthy honey, spice. Taste is a bit watery, some honey. Thin finish.

Hazy golden beer with a thick white head. Smells malty with a bit of fruit and something a little floral, maybe. Taste has a nice, savoury malt base too with some bittersweet fruit and grassy hop. Quite crisp and refreshing.

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet City Nord in Bodø. Next to clear warm golden body, filmy layer, spotty lacing. Farmyard smell added by apple skins. Flavoured with yeasty fruitiness, cheese and tart berries. Ends dry and tart. Decent cleanser with a refreshingly summer feel, not a favourite though. (Bodø Panorama 26.06.2020).
