16 ounce can into tulip glass; no can dating, but was just released. Pours fairly crystal clear deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, honey, toasted biscuit, light caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great complexity and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, honey, toasted biscuit, light caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, honey, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no astringent hop flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and sticky/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 6.8%. Overall this is an excellent IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Perfect showcase of Citra/Mosaic. Very juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy balanced hop complexity; great bready malt backbone, with minimal residual sweetness from lingering resin dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on classic West coast style example.

Can: Nearly clear, honey-gold with a big white head. Clove, wheat, banana scent. Taste is moderately sweet wheat malt, banana, cloves. A bit of grainy bitterness...malty. Drinks with more body than expected. Pretty decent.

Can. Banana, orange, milk, wheat malt, and straw aroma. Hazy golden yellow with nice white head. Moderately sweet banana, orange, clove, creamy wheat malt, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Great body and balance. Excellent - this absolutely needs to be a regular.

Got in a trade with The-Adjunct-Hippie. 12 ounce can into pint glass, no can dating. Pours slightly hazy golden amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, nutty medium roast coffee, vanilla, cream, toasted oats, biscuit dough, light pepper, and herbal/grassy/roasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of cocoa, coffee, vanilla, bready malts, and light earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, nutty medium roast coffee, vanilla, cream, toasted oats, biscuit dough, light pepper, and herbal/grassy/roasted earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/grassy/spicy bitterness and roasted coffee bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, nutty medium roast coffee, vanilla, cream, toasted oats, biscuit dough, light pepper, and herbal/grassy/roasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of cocoa, coffee, vanilla, bready malts, and light earthy hop flavors; with a great roast/hop bitter/sweet balance; and no acrid/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering hop/roast bitterness. Medium-plus carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.8%. Overall this is an awesome white stout! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of cocoa, coffee, vanilla, bready malts, and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/drying finish. Very rich balanced flavors of cocoa, coffee, vanilla, and bready oats/malts; with nice balancing earthy hops. A really enjoyable offering, and amazing style example. Definitely the best I have had yet, legitimately feels like a stout.

Aromas of big peanut butter, milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, and toasted dark/brown bread; with lighter notes of smoke, charcoal, herbal, pepper, pine, and roast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malts, peanut butter, and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big peanut butter, milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, and toasted dark/brown bread; with lighter notes of smoke, charcoal, herbal, pepper, pine, and roast/toasted earthiness. Light-moderate pine/herbal/spicy hop and roast/char bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of peanut butter, milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, toasted dark/brown bread, smoke, char, herbal, pepper, pine, and roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malts, peanut butter, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a nice roast/hop bitter/sweet balance. Some lingering acrid/astringency, but not too overwhelming. Smooths out through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready/grainy, and fairly sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is good. Minimal warming alcohol for 6.5%. Overall this is a great flavored American porter! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malts, peanut butter, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth and easy to drink, despite the fairly aggressively bitter/acrid/drying finish. Very rich and well rounded porter malt complexity with balanced authentic PB flavors; and balancing earthy hops. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

12 oz can. Pours a cloudy gold color with an off-white head and great retention. Decent lacing. Sweet cocoa aroma. Taste follows the nose. Sweet cocoa up front followed by some vanilla extract and a hint of coffee finish. Low carbonation. Good dessert beer!

12 oz can. Opaque very dark brown pour with a small beige head and decent retention. Good lacing. Strong peanut butter nose. The taste has dark bitter baker's chocolate and light coffee flavor with limited peanut butter notes. Dry finish. Not as sweet as I hoped. The 6.5 ABV is well hidden. Decent, but not nearly as good as DuClaw's Sweet Baby Jesus.
