Description
We are a 3bbl nanobrewery in New Hampshire's Seacoast, focused on bringing high quality, inventive craft beer to the region. Our main passion is the East Coast IPA, especially the ability of the hop to play such an integral role in taste and aroma. In addition to unfiltered IPAs, our smaller brewing capacity allows the ability to brew many one-off and experimental series outside of our core beer; pilsners, fruited sours, Goses and stouts and constantly rotating through our tanks.

Our tap room is located in Dover, NH, offering samples and pints of all of our 10 current drafts. With our 3bbl size, we are able to constantly rotate beer selections, so every time you come in you'll find new offerings and interpretations of a variety of beer styles.

Mixed rating of taster pour at the brewery (2/24/19) and can (11/9/20). Appearance is opaque yellow-light brown with light sparkle, a thin ring of off-white head. Aroma is strong herbal on tap but pretty muted nondescript sweet/tart fruit from the can. Taste begins strong herbal, then nondescript citrus/tropical fruit/melon sweetness (on tap); vaguely wine-like with an almost smokey quality from the can. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth texture, soft-to-average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, good but dominated by the Vic Secret. Would be even better if the mosaic and citrus were a bit higher in the mix (and usually the problem is the other way around!). Liked on tap better than in the can--possibly due to difference in freshness(?) or evolution in recipe?

Taster pour at the brewery. Appearance is hazy pinkish-red (like cranberry lemonade) with no discernible sparkle, thin ring of off-white head and no lacing. Aroma is citrus, grapefruit, herb. Taste is as aroma with sweet fruit (like a canned cranberry loaf, though obviously not)--must be the kiwi and hibiscus combo. Palate is medium bodied with smooth, thick texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, nice all around and exercises good restraint from allowing it to get too sweet.

Taster pour at the brewery. Appearance is cloudy yellow with no discernible sparkle, no real head or lacing to speak of. Aroma is a musky, arm-pitty, herbal, with light smoke--hempy. Taste is initial onion herb with sweet back half. Palate is medium body with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, interesting and reasonably strong. Great if you like more herby/vegetal notes; not for you if you're looking for sweet 'n' juicy.

Taster pour at the brewery. Appearance is opaque black with no discernible sparkle, finger-width foamy, light brown head with poor retention. Aroma is very strong peanut butter and milk chocolate. Taste is strong initial peanut butter with mild chocolate, ending with bitter roast but in between sort of a metallic, slightly astringent bridge. Palate is medium bodied with smooth, thick texture and bittersweet finish. Overall, good but not nuanced and a weird middle.

Draft taster pour at Powder Keg Beer & Chili Festival. Appearance is milky yellow, no sparkle, thin head and mild lacing. Aroma is dominant herbal quality, milder citrus. Taste has nice strong tropical fruit, citrus, mildly herbal. Palate is light side of light-to-medium, thin, smooth texture, soft carbonation, with a spiciness and finish as taste with acidic bite of citrus at the end. Overall, quite tasty with good deal of complexity, especially in flavor and palate.
