Crowler from AFH. reddish brown head faded quickly. it opened with a bit of a gush. Smells great Very floral with a solid grapefruit aroma. yeah, a load of grapefruit, resin, orange peel. really crisp and clean, juicy, resinous.

Poured from crowler thanks Airforcehops clear gold with a thin white head. Aromas of dank citrus pineapple and grapefruit notes of malt. Taste is juicy citrus and caramel malt. Decent.

Bottle from the brewery around October or November release. Thin tan head on a pitch black liquid. Aroma is very mild bourbon on top of roasted grain and slight chocolate malt.
Flavor shows the bourbon is a very mellow nuance throughout the sip. Flavor of coffee, dark chocolate, roasted grain with a slightly alcohol finish. Mouthfeel is slightly thin but the flavor is just really damn nice!

A - Totally black. looks oily, pretty beer
S - Smells excellent. Vanilla, coconut, bourbon, chocolate, espresso bean
T - Pretty darn good taste. Vanilla, loads of roast, marshmallow at the finish, cinnamon, more vanilla and a good oak presence. This is impressive.
M - Middle of the road mouthfeel. fades fast to just chocolate.
O - Great work Garrison. Awesome.

32 oz. Crowler from Prost, North Hampton, NH. Deep brown color with a thin beige head. Aroma of toffee, caramel, fruity yeast esters, and alcohol.
Flavor is strong toffee, mild hops, alcohol warming and light roast. Light notes of tobacco. The brew has a medium body with a soft, smooth mouthfeel. Nice beer, for such a young Old Ale it has a lot of flavor.

32 oz. Crowler purchased at Prost, North Hampton, NH. The beer poured a dark brown with a thin tan head that did not stick around. Aromas of roasted malts with a bit of chocolate, and mild smoke.
Taste starts slightly sweet caramel and chocolate, but finish is definitely smoky, not over the top but it’s here for sure. Medium to lighter bodied with light carbonation. Overall, smoked malts are not for my tastes at all. But the brewer has it subtle and for my palate that is a great thing.

Can from Bert’s with a canned on date 1/27/16 Love it! Slightly hazy light golden color with a decent sized long lasting bubbly white head that persists. Big tropical stone fruity light pine hoppy nose with a crackery maltiness underneath. Sweet bready light caramel maltiness with hints of orange. Mostly fruity but light earthy hop flavor with a moderate level of bitterness. Light alcohol warming in the finish. Definitely doesn’t suck, but maybe a hint of the malty side for my tastes.

Crowler from Bert’s This is the Citra and Vic Secret version, might need a separate entry as the hops in this beer change Hazy pale orange color with a decent but short lived head. Huge citrus and pineapple with plenty of resinous pine and hints of earth. Light sweet fruity malty flavor. That’s a pretty damn good beer right there.

Crowler from Bert’s Dark brown with faint garnet at the edges, smallish tan head. Roasty earthy chocolate with a hint of caramel and a touch of alcohol. Nice rich roasty porter.
