Tap at Cask and Vine. Deep clear golden color with a decent sized off white head. Rich caramel and lots of toffee, almost butterscotch maltiness with lots of tropical fruity pine hop essence. The flavor is huge in the maltiness with just a hint too much toffee/ butterscotch for my tastes. Mild earthy fruity hop flavor low bitterness. My least favorite brew of the night. I could drink it again but would reacj for something else first.

Muddy/cloudy, drab, graham cracker-orange colored body is topped by a small, off-white head with low retention.
Not sure what happened here, and WHYM dosent seem like the type of place that is going to put a beer on in compromised condition, but man, this thing was barely even beer-like. Herbs and phenols from the nose, with some bitter, astringent citric notes.
In the flavor, there’s a plethora of onion, garlic and heavily bitter, astringent acids, with dry, well-attenuated malts. Slick, oily texture and the worst part of the whole thing is that it tasted of petrol. Riesling shows us that plant substances can produce a gasoline-like petrol flavor compound, but I was unaware you could get this from hops that have gone bad. It was pretty unmistakeable though. Anyways, will certainly try again, looks like I just got an old/off keg.

Draft, hazy orange color, lasting head. Aroma is bright and fruity. Mango, peach and possibly pineapples hints. Makes you want to take a sip. The flavor is an overload of tropical fruit and citrus. Mango, peach, grapefruits with a pretty good amount of lingering bitterness. But the fruit does help with keeping the bitterness at bay and not becoming abrasive. Very well constructed / well made.

Sample at the source, deep, deep brown color with a lasting small tan head. Aroma is indeed a nice layer of chocolate with hints of roast and ale yeast. The flavor is rich from the cacao nibs, nice lingering sweet sugar in the finish. The body does have a very creamy texture and a fuller body. Very nice full rich flavor across the palate. Well made stout.

Draft at the source. Hazy yellow with lasting head. Aroma is pale milled grain and dusty yeast. Lighter body with a grainy texturebit not a dirty feel. The flavor is pretty much a direct copy of the yeast being the main player. The yeast is nice. Hints of dusty lemon in the finish.

Taster at the Brewpub. Hazy gold color with a awesome aroma! Tropical fruit, grass clippings and mild scallions. The body is medium with a good amount of pale malt. The bitterness is low with a lingering onion/ scallion finish. Mild garlic nuances after the sip. Pretty nice.

32 oz. crowler from the source. Hazy pale gold color with a light floral hops and light horse blanket hint. Flavor shows a earthy and herbal hops that are mild turning into a very weak funky yeast in the backside. The bitterness is mild with a dry texture. Carbonation is lower and that maybe from a 6 day or crowler, or perhaps not. The carbonation matters not because this is a nice IPA.

I was surprised how much danky hops the brewer got into such a low ABV brew. Marihuana and green hops, mild scallion are the dominate flavors in a light crisp body. The texture is slick with a active / tingly carbonation level. This was my favorite sample from the sample flight. I could session a good amount of this one and I’m not a huge fan of session IPA’s!

The flavor is medium sweet from the fruit and then leads into a bitter pine and light resin that lingers after the sip. Moderate bitterness that does not overwhelm the palate. Body is medium with a correct level of carbonation. This is a classic example of the way IPA’s used to be before an over-abundance of hops and Double / Imperials. Very enjoyable and easy to crush.

Draft at the source. Cloudy grapefruit juice type color with spotty lacy head. Aroma is light pineapple, pear and a touch of dank leafy green hops.
The base as a ton of grain light the other APA’s I sampled at the brewpub 4/4/2015. The fruit and leafy hops lead into a crispness that also has a earthy lingering note in the backside of the brew. Pretty easy to drink but for some reason I don’t get the normal tones of a Mosaic hop, interesting....
