Description
As two local craft beer enthusiasts and home brewers, Todd Becker and Bob King decided to open a craft brewery close to home in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. They soon decided upon the historic town of Flemington. Having selected a new, unfinished building to house the brewery, they have had the opportunity to design the brewery from the ground up. Tantamount in their minds was creating the rarely found quality in craft breweries -- a large, comfortable environment wherein their enthusiastic clients would enjoy meeting, laughing and tasting excellent beer.

16 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Cloudy yellow gold pour. Unusually bubbly head, like soap bubbles. They disappear almost immediately. Bready malt aroma with a huge mango presence. Sharp citrus flavor with lots of mango flavor. Highly carbonated. Tastes like Orangina with a dose of mango. 7% ABV is hardly noticeable. Some hop bitterness, but the mango flavor dominates.

16 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Opaque black color. Large rocky tan head. Roasted malt nose hints at espresso and bittersweet chocolate. Roasted malt flavor hints at dark dried fruit, molasses, dark chocolate and stewed prunes. Sticky mouthfeel. Notes of burnt sugar and resiny hops in finish.

Can from Joe Canal's, 9/18/19. Murky brighter orange color with a thick foam of beige head and strong lacework. Aroma is on the juicy side, some peach, grapefruit. Pale malts. Hints of butter. Tastes on the sweet side, not much punch from the hops at all. Decent stuff, but leaves me feeling like they had all the right ingredients but didn't fully execute the dish.
