Bottled. Clear golden with a disappearing head. Corn and cardboard, metallic notes. Corny sweetness and metallic bitterness. Light bodied, watery texture, lively carbonated, metallic bitter cardboard finish.

16/5/2023. Bottle bought at WCTC shopping centre, Koror, Palau enjoyed on our hotel balcony. Pours clear pale golden with a short lasting frothy white head. Aroma is sweet lychee, tinned lychee syrup. Sweet tasting with a slight tangy edge. Light bodied, a little oily, average carbonation. Clammy finish. I like lychee, and this wasn’t bad.

Red Horse Beer Extra Strong, 8%, brewed in Hong Kong, from Asian Spice in Split. Clear golden body, dissipating off-white head. Sweetish, slightly sugary malty aroma, bit herbal. Slightly meaty-yeasty taste, soft otherwise, very soft maltiness, trace herbal notes, vague bitterness, herbal touches by the finish. Light warmth is the only trace of alcohol for me, so there's that, but still, a flawed beer, even if it's drinkable for 8%.

7/5/2023. Can bought at a 7-Eleven in Taipei. Pours dark brown with a lasting beige head. Incredibly sweet chocolate taste. Aroma is milky milo, malted chocolate milk shake. Hides the fact that it’s supposed to be a beer extremely well.
