Pours pitch black with an extremely thin white head. Aroma of coffee beans, burnt malt. Taste has rich chocolate, coffee, extremely creamy. Palate has nice mild hop note, lingering coffee nose notes. Excellent.

Can thanks to William. Pours a cloudy orange with large off white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is mango, wheat, and strawberry seed. Slick body, mango, tangerine, lime zest, wheat, nice tartness, very good.

Can (11/4/20) pour from the brewery. Appearance is bright orange juice with trace sparkle, finger-width white foamy head with good retention and lovely rings of soapy lacing. Aroma is strong tropical fruits, tangerine, citrus and a bit of spruce. Taste is strong sweet fruit with a refreshing cool ginger/minty mouthwash kind of vibe and grainy backbone. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thick texture, some nice alcohol warmth and average-to-lively carbonation and finish as taste with a lingering dry, yeasty, mild bitterness. Overall, strong all the way around with some intriguing surprises to the aroma and taste. Yummy!

Can (10/22/20) pour from the brewery. Appearance is opaque, murky orange (like carrot juice) with trace sparkle, a few white floatie chunks, fizzy thin cap of off-white head and no lacing. Aroma is strong tart fruit and milder tangerine. Taste is initial tart fruit followed by strong sweet tangerine and mango. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth texture, average carbonation and sweet finish as taste. Overall, an enjoyable beverage. Tartness is there consistent with the style but the sweet fruit is delicious. Neither is particularly what I want in a beer, though.

16 oz. can in a trade with tfontana. My favorite CT brewery. Thanks for grabbing this. Been so long since I had a new Blender!!! Aroma is big mango and bold tangerine. Flavor shows the mango and tangerine and a moderate tart finish. Tartness is enough to remind you that is in fact a Berliner Weisse and NOT just a smoothie. Pleasantly tart and refreshing. Another winner in this series.

16 oz. can in a trade with tfontana. My favorite CT brewery. Thanks big dawg!! Aroma is citrus pith, white bread, and oats. Flavor is different citrus nuances with a fuller mouthfeel. Oats and wheat. A good amount of juice. Yeah I would drink this any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Very well made.

Can from tfontana, thanks again! Hazy murky bright lemon pie filling with a small frothy meringue on top. Bready and cereal maltiness with lots of citrus and tropical fruits more fruit than pith. Moderate pine and resin. Nice brew, I think the wheat adds a bit of complexity that I really enjoy.

Can from tfontana, thanks for the trade! Hazy dark orange juice of a color without much of a head. Tart lemons with plenty or sweet and tart tropical fruits, very faint berry presence. No malt to speak of. Tastes really good, hard to call it beer.
