Pours a hazy, orange-pineapple, with mid-sized head. Aroma has a touch of chalk, some citrus and tropical fruit, and other floral notes. Flavor is a bit astringent, with citrus and tropical fruit notes. It's very smooth and lightly sweet. Builds to a slightly bitter, hoppy finish.

Pours very dark brown. Medium sized, creamy, darkly tanned head. Smell is coffee, roasty. Taste is full, roasty, intense, coffee ( bit green) , rather sweet, yeasty.

Draught at Grand Delancey: pours pale haze with white head. Aroma is grapefruit and other citrus. Somewhat bitter. Very citrusy. Better than other VS beers I have had.

Opening Bash. Pours pale yellow. Melon, tangerine, cracker, little hop burn. Medium body. Not great.

Ever so slightly hazy pink and light violet coloured body with a mellow golden glow and a softer, single centimetre tall, just off-white head. Aroma of mild soured grain, a dash of raspberries and blackberries with some brett and funky yeast components, but the soft clean fruit and sour/tart flavours are the strongest by far. Light-bodied; Strong fruity and funky soured flavours dominate with a light brett and yeast note that show a lot of dryness, but also a lot of smooth malt/wheat notes, especially at the end, but there is a small place for caster sugar and fructose to make this go down very easily. Aftertaste is smooth and crisp with the fruits, light soured notes, citrus and brett the strongest here with a slight dash of dry grainy malt and perfume to capture anything other than soured/tart fruits. Overall, a nice and very easy-drinking beer that still has a lot of flavours, especially for the alcohol content. Fairly good for this large/obtuse style category, but of course, not as complex as some others, but not a bad option, if you can find it. I sampled this sixteen ounce can, given to me by the GM of BlueJacket here in Washington, after a hockey game in Arlington (Ballston), Virginia on 29-January-2020 - Thanks Erik!

Pours a dark, cola-brown, with smallish, tan head. Aromas of vanilla, cookies, coffee, chocolate, roasted nuts and grain. Flavor is sweet, with vanilla, coffee, chocolate, roasted grain. Very soft, smooth mouthfeel. Alcohol content is very well-hidden in this one.

Pours a hazy, lemon-banana yellow, with big, foamy head that dissipates rapidly, with nice lacing. Aroma is a bit chalky, but with citrus and tropical fruit in abundance. Flavor also has that touch of chalk, but is very juicy as well. Citrus and tropical fruit and just a touch of hoppy bitterness in the finish.

Pours a hazy, orange-juice color, with smallish head. Aroma is dank, with a note of astringency, tropical fruit, and citrus. Flavor is lightly sweet, with tropical fruit and citrus, and just the slightest touch of hop bitterness at the finish. Another good one.
