Description
Sternburg beers have been produced in an own brewery until 1991. After that it was just a brand produced by "Leipziger Brauhaus zu Reudnitz". In 2012 the brewery was renamed to Sternburg Brauerei as the Reudnitzer brand was discontinued.

Bottle, 5.2%. OK lagery aroma. Clear golden colour. Big stable white head. The flavour is lagery, has CO2 notes. OK hoppy, a bit of aroma hop, and a bit of bitterness. Fairly clean. Good mouthfeel.

Bottle during the final night in Berlin. Pours clear, red-brown with a light, tan cream head. Sweet, fruity dark malt nose with touches of roasted malts. Light sweet flavor with mild toast, roast, light burnt earthy bitterness. Bland, though. Light bodied with average, creamy carbonation. Mild finish with light burnt plastic, light toast, light fake bread. Things fall apart a bit in the finish.

Bottle session in the hotel in Berlin. Pours clear, light yellow with a weak, white head. Very light cereal nose. Light sweet flavor, some cereal, corn, faint metal and hay. Faint biscuits, too. Light in body with fine, fizzy carbonation. Lightly crisp to finish, lightly sweet with biscuity cereal, light hay and straw bitterness. Mild and very drinkable.
