Description
The Berterath domain looks back on an eventful and checkered history. before about Exactly 118 years ago, the Prussian state wanted to build a model farm here and thus on the difficult times of the 1880s and 1890s. After several different fields of activity and tasks in the past, the domain now receives a new one Intended purpose: brew beer!

Almost 120 years after it was founded, agricultural raw materials are once again being processed in the Berterath domain. Unlike back then, however, no longer with meat and milk, but with hearty, delicious strong beer! Because in the land of beers, strong beers are particularly popular. They are literally on the rise and are gaining more and more market share compared to Pilsner beers.

The brewery, which comes from Millevertus, has an annual capacity of max. 4,000 hectoliters.

Bottle at a tasting. Rather thin, characterless, mostly the ginger here and other than that it is watery. Drinkable, sweetish, not very beer feeling though and what is here is slightly soapy and basementy. Okay.

0,33 l Steinie bottle from Erzengel. Thanks a lot! Unclear golden in the glass, big but fast fading white head. Caramel ginger smell. Meh. Sorry. Didn´t work for me. Tastes the same, intensive ginger, later some caramel and maybe honey. No, not my cup of tea. Besides my personel taste, it´s really thin.
