Description
The Berterath domain looks back on an eventful and checkered history. before about Exactly 118 years ago, the Prussian state wanted to build a model farm here and thus on the difficult times of the 1880s and 1890s. After several different fields of activity and tasks in the past, the domain now receives a new one Intended purpose: brew beer!
Almost 120 years after it was founded, agricultural raw materials are once again being processed in the Berterath domain. Unlike back then, however, no longer with meat and milk, but with hearty, delicious strong beer! Because in the land of beers, strong beers are particularly popular. They are literally on the rise and are gaining more and more market share compared to Pilsner beers.
The brewery, which comes from Millevertus, has an annual capacity of max. 4,000 hectoliters.

Pours rather clear blonde. Small white head. Smell is fresh, malty, tad hops. Rather clean fermentation profile for the style ( mild spices ). Taste is sharp, tad bitter. Very light citrussy. Wheat-like almost. Sharp carbo, thin body.

Pours unclear blonde, small white head. Smell is a bit spiced. Almost soapy, ginger in a weird way. Taste is full, sweet, ginger, but not overly so. Clear, but not overpowering. Tad too sugary though, at the end. Tastes like they added stevia or something alike ( which I can't stand the taste off )

Nose of smooth caramel. Biscuits, cookie dough with a nice subtle ginger component. Easy to drink and well-balanced. Not too deep in the aftertaste, the ginger is not too dominant. Fruity with a nice caramel ginger ending without being hot. Nice one. --- Beer merged from original tick of Myday on 26 Jul 2019 at 23:26 - Score: 6. Original review text: fruity floral, moderate bitter with a refreshing fruity mild aftertaste. Floral hops with a fruity finish. Nice refreshing and easy to drink.

Smooth malty nose. The beer starts malty with a nice fruity spicy back. Easy to drink with a dry and slightly bitter finish. Caramel, biscuits, cake with caramel and a moderate bitterness. Brown sugars in the back, nice one.
