Can from High Point, Vancouver
Hazy to cloudy blond colour with generous head. Powerful fruity aroma, ripe melon. Soft carbonation (I think I needed more, tonight); the malt and oats base is very muddy; the hop is fruity, but mostly it's bitter citrus peel, strong pith, so there is no lack of bitterness here, but for the wrong reasons; bitter grass.
Dirty. This beer is the perfect example to explain why NEIPA is inferior to West Coast IPA, in general.

Poured from 473mL can. Cloudy dull yellow with white head. Old and oaty with gooseberry hops. Kept it way too long in the back of the fridge.

Beer #100 from this brewery. Nice clear medium gold body and good foam. Sharp cracker and slight lemongrass on the nose. Taste is bitter cracker, slight grassiness, ending smooth and sharp. Well crafted but could use just a little more sweetness.

Good cloudy yellow body and okay foam. Kind of a tart citrus on the nose, a bit of armpit, soft lemon candy found under your sofa. Taste is a muddy citrus, slightly chalky, ending wet. Not really sour, or channeling an IPA, drinkable anyway.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Blond, the first pour is just slightly hazy. Some smell of sweat, tomatoes, very light smell of cheese; some flowery hops. It's lean, with just light residual sweetness; the malt profile is good, it's deliate, a concept to keep building on; but something went sideways, maybe the fermentation, because the hopping is covered by some vegetable notes, petroleum, and quite strong alcohol.
It's drinkable, but less achieved than other IIIPAs from the same brewery.

Pale yellow colour, almost light brown, murky, this doesn't look appetizing. The aroma is ok, there is acidity, and stone fruit, some lactic acid. Good body strength, as it's not too dry; it's fairly sour, with some fruit accents, and some pith in the finish.
It's a drinkable Sour, but the label is a trap, going to take 2 points away for calling this an IPA (not that I ever expected it to be one, but adding buzzwords is just dumb).

473mL can, pours a hazy pale golden with a small white head. Aroma has some odd herbal notes, with light piney hops, bready malt and maybe some diacetyl (?). Flavour has an odd herbal, oniony hop character, a touch of pine, some light booze, bready malt, and light residual sweetness. The hop character is a bit off-base. Not their best.

Pale dull strawβ¦honestly not an attractive colour. Thin head. Slight stickiness, mellow botanicals, some plasticy esters.

Can, I think from Legacy but I was also at the brewery not too long ago. Darkish amber with a bit of chill haze, and a decent head. It's got a fairly bright citrusy character, orange, that sort of thing. Lots of malts, maybe some onions in there a bit, again orangey on the palate as the main hop note though. Some alcohol in the finish, but not a lot by TIPA standards. Decent, though that onion character is a bit much when it warms up and combines with the alcohol.
